Indoor Cat! - short play reading with ALAP

Outdoor Cat (Daniel Stonewall), vomiting due to the heat, visits Indoor Cat (Megan Tomei) at her window, hoping she’ll let him inside.

After seeing each other’s work a few times now, playwright Adi Eshman and I finally got to work together on his short play Indoor Cat about an outdoor cat wanting to be let inside by an indoor cat, but really about scarcity mindset and how we share our resources. The reading was part of a series produced by the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights. Working with Daniel is always a treat, he’s so smart and funny, and I was very happy to meet Megan, even though we learned we were at NYU at the same time! I’m very much looking forward to future collaborations with Adi.
